Laser Cutting 101, pew pew!
Saturday, November 10, 2012 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM (EST)
Learn to use the laser cutter - We'll be running a one to two hour workshop first in the classroom with Inkscape, showing people the basics of designing vector graphics, then moving out to the lab to actually go over laser use, safety, and operations. When the event is over, everyone should be able to sit down at the laser computer and come away with a finished part. Event is open to anyone interested in learning, not just members. Bring a laptop, the vector graphics software used to design parts is open source/free, and you're welcome to follow along.
